At OC Dental Academy, our 8-hour dental Infection Control course will provide students with basic concepts, the step-by-step procedures, and the current regulatory aspects related to infection control and office safety. Our dental Infection Control course consists of 4 hours of online learning and 4 hours of laboratory and clinical instruction. At the end of our course, you will be prepared to understand the concepts of infection control related to the dental office. -

This online training module has been developed in accordance with the California Code of Regulations Section 1600 to provide the most current information on California Dental Practice Act. The course work is designed by experience Dentist whose credentials include over twenty years of general dentistry. -
OC Dental Academy’s Coronal Polishing course is Dental Board approved and will fulfill the necessary requirements for unlicensed Dental Assistants seeking to become an RDA. After completing this course, the graduate will earn a certificate in Coronal Polishing. A person must hold a Registered Dental Assisting license in order to perform coronal polishing on patients in California. -
Our CPR course is a 4 hours course given by an American Heart Association certified Instructor. This class is a blend of teaching, videos and hands on instruction. At the end of the class, there will be a skills test in order to make sure each student understands the material. -

OC Dental Academy offers specific training in dental billing. Our two-day program will give you the terminology and skills you need to be knowledgeable in all aspects of dental billing. You will be able to discuss the purpose of the insurance coding, differentiate their various categories, complete a dental claim form for manual submission, identify the different methods of filing insurance claims, and understand the responsibility of the administrative dental assistant in filing dental claims. -

Students will learn theory and clinical skills relating to orthodontic assisting. Students MUST complete on-line training and pass on-line quizzes before each day of class. -
Dental sealants are made of a resin material and are applied to the pits and fissures of teeth to prevent dental caries. OC Dental Academy’s Pit and Fissure Sealants course is a California Dental Board approved course which fulfills the certification requirements for an RDA’s renewing an RDA license, and/or RDA’s seeking to perform pit and fissure sealant on patients in a dental office. Upon completing this course, the graduate will earn a certificate in Pit and Fissure Sealants. -
OC Dental Academy written review is a one-day seminar designed to help you pass the written Registered Dental Assistant Exam given by the Dental Board of California. We will focus on all the required topic areas addressed in the examination outline plan. A review book along with practice tests are used. We will focus on the examination plan that was issued by the California Dental Board.
